During my recent stay at Ambiente in Strehla, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the level of comfort offered at this three-star gem. While it doesn't quite fit the traditional luxury mold, the value is undeniable. The spacious room, complete with a flat-screen TV and soundproofing, provided a peaceful retreat after our biking adventures along the Elbe. The restaurant served a simple yet satisfying breakfast, and the coziest corner of the hotel was surely the bar/lounge area-ideal for winding down with a drink after a day of exploration. The charming garden added a lovely touch, along with secure bike storage, making it a practical stop for cyclists. If you're seeking an affordable base that doesn't compromise on comfort, Ambiente is definitely worth considering. Just be aware, while it exudes a cozy charm, it may not meet high luxury expectations.
